Real Madrid closes its first deal in the summer of 2025 and the player will sign next January

Reports indicate that Real Madrid is close to finalizing a deal with Bayern Munich’s full-back Alphonso Davies. According to *Marca*, an agreement has been reached for Davies to transfer to the Santiago Bernabéu once his contract with Bayern expires. The young Canadian international is currently under contract with Bayern until the summer of 2025.

The report further states that Davies will officially join Real Madrid on January 2, after entering the grace period that allows him to negotiate with other clubs before the transfer is completed.

Several top clubs, including Barcelona and Manchester United, have shown interest in signing Davies on a free transfer next summer. Barcelona, at the request of coach Hansi Flick, and Manchester United have both made efforts to secure the player. However, according to journalist Félix Díaz, Davies has expressed a strong preference for joining Real Madrid.

This season, Davies has featured in 14 matches, starting 12 of them, and has provided two assists—one in the Bundesliga and another in the DFB-Pokal, playing under the management of Belgian coach Vincent Kompany.
