The Green Bay Packers and Dallas Cowboys have a long-standing rivalry within the NFC Conference.  The two teams have met up in some memorable playoff matchups.  On top of that, legendary head coach Mike McCarthy had spent a significant amount of time with both teams.

Now, another coach who interviewed with Green Bay, is choosing Dallas.

According to Jon Machota of The Athletic:

The Dallas Cowboys have hired the following assistant coaches:

Linebackers: Dave Borgonzi

Defensive Line: Aaron Whitecotton

Defensive Passing Game Coordinator: Andre Curtis

 

Whitecotton interviewed with Green Bay for their defensive line coach earlier in January.

Whitecotton has worked for the Jets for the last four seasons. His coaching career includes stints with the 49ers, Bills, and Jaguars before joining Robert Saleh’s staff at the Jets.
