On September 17, 2024, entertainment mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs was arrested at the Park Hyatt Hotel in New York. From there, the dark curtain of the American music industry came to light. The 54-year-old rapper, owner of a billion-dollar business empire with the Bad Boy record label that dominates the music industry, was charged with felonies. The 14-page indictment was released, in which Diddy faces numerous suspicions of sex trafficking, rape, kidnapping, and abuse.

Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez, Usher, The Weeknd, Janelle Monáe, Queen Latifah, Snoop Dogg… were named one after another. Justin Bieber has made the world sad as the abuse he suffered in the past has gradually been explained in his music. It wasn’t until Diddy was arrested that people could hear the prince of pop’s cry for help.

But when did Diddy’s hidden crimes begin to be investigated? The music mogul was unmasked by none other than his ex-girlfriend, singer Cassie.

In November 2023, Cassie filed a lawsuit against her ex-boyfriend Sean “Diddy” Combs, accusing the 54-year-old rapper of raping and sexually abusing her for 10 years. In her statement, Cassie said she decided to stand up to her powerful boyfriend so that other women who are being abused can have the courage to fight back.
