Shelby Blackstock, professional race car driver and son of country legend Reba McEntire, just completed his first solo flight as a certified pilot. The milestone marks not only a major step in his aviation journey, but also an emotional high point in a bond that continues to grow between mother and son — even at 3,000 feet above the ground.
