Grimes’ mother, Sandy Garossino, has publicly accused Elon Musk of allegedly preventing their three young children from visiting their dying great-grandmother in Canada.
Taking to X on Saturday, Garossino wrote a heartfelt plea directed at the tech mogul, saying, “I’m writing here because it’s the only way I can reach you.”
She explained that her 93-year-old mother, who is currently in end-of-life palliative care, deeply wishes to see and hold Claire’s children one last time. Garossino referred to her daughter, Grimes, by her given name, Claire Elise Boucher, in the post.
The emotional message highlights the ongoing tensions between the families, as Garossino expressed her grandmother’s longing for a final moment with the children.
Grimes and Musk, seen together at the 2018 Met Gala, share three children: X Æ A-XII, Exa Dark Sideræl, and Tau Techno Mechanicus. Garossino’s appeal comes amidst previous reports of custody-related disputes between the former couple.
